Dog in the Pond
This is the top end of Englemere Pond which has a bit more open water than the rest. In other parts the pond is pretty much overgrown with reeds and other stuff.

Pond or Swamp?
This is Englemere Pond. I think the Mere suffix is more accurate for as you see, there isn't a great deal of Pond about it. Geographs from several years back show it has steadily filled in with growth. It's part of a nature reserve and I guess all sorts of creatures like it this way. On the down side, it smells a bit.
