Funeral of Queen Elizabeth II
Waiting crowds along the Long Walk, on the arrival of the procession. The State Funeral had taken place in Westminster Abbey at 11:00. Following the journey from London, the hearse joined a procession along the Long Walk, towards the castle and St. George’s Chapel. The Committal Service began at 16:00.

The Long Walk, more than an hour prior to the arrival of the procession. There was a great deal of military activity, with units marching into position to form the procession. The State Funeral had taken place in Westminster Abbey at 11:00. Following the journey from London, the hearse joined a procession along the Long Walk, towards the castle and St. George’s Chapel. The Committal Service began at 16:00.
