Windsor Castle Lower Ward, St George's Chapel
St George's Chapel is located on the north side of the Lower Ward of Windsor castle. This huge building, designed in the Perpendicular Gothic style dates from the late 15th and early 16th century.

St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle
Construction of St George's Chapel was begun in 1475 by Edward IV and completed during the reign of Henry VIII in 1528. It is the place of burial of eleven monarchs including Henry VIII, Charles I and Queen Elizabeth II.
