Old Milestone by the former A4 in Slough
Carved stone plaque by the A4, in parish of Slough (Slough District), Sussex Place; outside No. 46, set in a low brick wall beside footpath, on South side of road. Erected by the Colnbrook, Datchet & Slough turnpike trust in the 19th century.
Inscription reads:-

Lascelles Playing Field
The land here was purchased in 1928 by Slough Urban District Council and made into a playing field; the Lascelles family were the original owners of the land. This is the eastern edge of the field with houses on Lascelles Road.
