Across Uxbridge Road
These houses line the dual carriageway Uxbridge Road opposite Broadmark Road traffic lights. It is difficult to stop along this road to take a photo, but there was a convenient lay by here just after the lights.

The Slough Arm
One of the visitor boards that have been put along the improved towpath in an effort to turn this neglected arm of the canal system into more of an amenity.

Orange Way after Wiltshire (470)
The bridge carrying the A412 (Uxbridge Road) is approached. Two workmen were doing something technical on the craft on the left. I think it is a dredger.

Slough arm of the Grand Union Canal
At first sight this looks quite rural, but there are houses (on Hazlemere Road) behind the trees on the left. The unfortunate occupants of two of them have a pylon in their back garden.
