Junctions at Nashdom
In the immediate foreground, the driveway into Nashdom Abbey leaves Nashdom Lane, which then curves past the lawn and trees to meet Taplow Common Road at a T-junction.

Nashdom Abbey
A former country house and former Anglican Benedictine abbey in Burnham. Designed in Neo-Georgian style by architect Edwin Lutyens. Grade II* listed, it was converted into apartments in 1997.

Most photos of Nashdom Abbey are in Image - see http://www.geograph.org.uk/gridref/SU9284?centi=SU920842 , but at least half the building and most of this northwest facade are in Image The building was designed by Lutyens in 1911 (other sources give 1908, and 1905-1909), for Princess Alexis Dolgorouki, an heiress who married a Russian prince. In 1929 it was purchased by the Anglican Order of Benedictine Monks http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Nashdom.html . "Nashdom is an effective classical villa and one that Nash would have envied" http://www.greatbuildings.com/buildings/Nashdom.html (which gives several drawings of the building).
