Burnham: The George Inn
The George is on the High Street opposite Church Street and is one of the older public houses in Burnham. The large entrance on the right would have been for horse-drawn vehicles.

Burnham old fire station
Burnham old fire station, Church Street, Burnham. It was operated by Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service although Burnham is just over the boundary in Buckinghamshire.

Burnham: Garibaldi
This public house occupies a prominent corner location overlooking the green. The half-timbered building dates from circa 1762, and certainly predates the Italian soldier and politician (1807 - 1882) after whom it is currently named. The pub's website is here http://garibaldiatburnham.com/
Also of interest in the image are the two lampposts, each with a pair of Belisha Beacon globes.
