Clonmel Way, Burnham (Bucks)
There are several roads of terraced housing in this gridsquare dating from the mid-nineteenth century to the second half of the twentieth. Clonmel Way, seen here looking north-east, is an example of the latter.

Burnham Telephone Exchange (2)
Another view of this TE in Dropmore Road showing the entrance door. The words "Telephone Exchange" can be seen to the right of that door, although these days "Telecom Building" would be a more accurate description as it provides telephone and broadband services to the surrounding area. However, it was a manual TE until the 1960s, when the somewhat noisy Strowger switching equipment brought automation to it.

Located at 11 Dropmore Road, this TE appears to have been rebuilt in recent years. It covers also Dorney and Taplow nearby, as well as Burnham. The postcode of this TE is SL1 8BD.
