Slough YMCA, Chalvey, Slough
The YMCA building at 30 Ladbrooke Road provides housing for 45 single people.
Slough YMCA, working in partnership with Slough Borough Council’s Housing Needs department and Supporting People Team, is one of the largest providers of temporary housing in Slough. Residents can stay for up to 2 years.

Chalvey: Slough Borough Council salt dome
Located at the rear of Slough Borough Council's Chalvey depot is this modern salt dome building. These circular buildings with wooden roofs are specifically designed to store salt to be used on roads during the winter without the salt being damaged by dampness during storage and by minimizing the risk of salt being leached into the ground or into the drainage system. They are also designed to enable the efficient delivery of the salt by HGVs and then the quick and efficient loading of distribution gritting vehicles.

High Street Shops, Chalvey
High Streets are usually at the centre of their districts, but Chalvey High Street isn't typical. Lined with a random selection of suburban housing and business park type developments, it's more of a road to somewhere else.
