Albert Street has been closed to through traffic, leaving The Wheatsheaf pub and a few shops facing onto a quiet cul de sac.

St Mary, Slough
In an Early English Gothic style with an impressive spire with flying buttresses and pinnacles. Most of what is seen today is the product of two building stages - John Oldrid Scott in 1876-78, and 1911-13 from whence the tower dates. Grade II* listed.
Above is an unusual (to me at least) cloud formation. Is it altocumulus? Fellow Geographer Derek Harper suggests Altocumulus floccus or Cirrus floccus.
