Henley - Paddington train leaving Slough
Everyday scene, view westward, towards Reading etc. on the ex-GW main line. Seen from a Down express, the 08.38 Henley-on-Thames - Paddington, which joined the main line at Twyford, is headed by Collett 4-6-0 No. 4951 'Pendeford Hall' (built 7/29, withdrawn 6/64).

Increased Overheads at Slough Station
The electrification of the Great Western Railway appears to involve an excessive quantity of metalwork.
Other electrified routes don't seem to have this amount of clutter, or maybe it's just gone rusty so you don't notice it so much.
