Northern Rail Class 323, 323224, Alderley Edge railway station
The southbound train terminates at the station on the northbound platform, after arriving with a service from Manchester Piccadilly. This platform is used in both directions for this service as it allows easy access to the siding south of the station, for temporary stabling before the return service.
