Black Lake, Lindow Common
The south end of the lake (looking north). Was once a popular model boating lake (that was about 50 years ago!) very few trees then, no fence and the edging to the lake was old railway sleepers!

Popular dog-walking and kiddie-walking area not only for the immediate neighbours but from as far afield as a mile or more away - hence the need for a carpark.
