Romany's Vardo
"Romany", aka Rev.George Bramwell Evens (1884-1943), was a much loved broadcaster on Children's Hour speaking on nature. He was of Gypsy descent and lived in a caravan which is preserved in Wilmslow's carpark and is open to the public.
