Waggon and Horses bowling green
Not quite match-on but a spot of warm up before the big event. Crown Green bowling is the sport hereabouts and all the way from the midlands northward. A smooth sward has a very flattened cone or pyramid shape and bias on the bowl can be made to work with or against the fall of the green. This was a match in the Alderley Edge Veterans League.

Rainbow over the Peaks
This picture has been taken from right on the Stockport/Macclesfield Borough Border overlooking farmland. The hills in the distance (where the rainbow disappears into) is the Peak District.
