Memorial Fountain, Queens Gardens
Water fountain and octagonal drinking trough with the inscription - 'Robert Ockleston died 1888, memorial erected 1889'. Ockleston was a notable Cheadle doctor. The fountain is sandstone, polished granite and cast iron. A circular polished granite column rises from an elaborate base and has enriched capital with inscription and heraldic shields. A weather vane is situated on top formerly with four light pendants. The memorial formerly stood at the centre of Cheadle Green. Listed Grade II.

Cheadle and Gatley Conservative Club
The Cheadle and Gatley Conservative Club on Stockport Road next door to the Royal Oak. The club's origin dates back to the 16th March 1891, when land belonging to Mr Walter Middleton was purchased with the aim of building the existing club including the bowling green. The work was completed by May 1892, and tenancy commenced on the 1st September 1892. Plans for alterations were approved in 1947, A new gents toilet was built with a stewards flat built above.
