The Bull's Head at High Lane, Stockport
The Bull's Head (which currently - 2019 - receives good reviews) in Buxton Road and by the Macclesfield Canal prefers not to use an apostrophe in its name, despite the fact that it is embedded into the original architecture. Bulls is plural. The pub is named after a bull, which is singular. The person who chose to drop the apostrophe is content to undermine teachers trying to improve children's literacy.
