Descent from Smithy Lane Farm
I don't know the name of the brook at the bottom, though it once had several mills on its descent to the Goyt at Marple Bridge. The hill ahead is behind Mellor Hall, and you can see the junction of Hollywood Road and Chatterton Lane on the side of it.
