Footpath to Peak Forest Canal
Track known as Hydebank ends here, and a footpath descends to the Peak Forest Canal. Walkers following the canal have to leave the towpath as the canal passes through Hydebank Tunnel for 308 yards.

Watering trough, Hyde Bank
The Hyde Bank Tunnel does not have a towpath, the horses would have been taken over the top, past this trough. Given it is carved out of solid stone and fed from an underground stream it would mostly be fresh water. Its position ideal to water the horses.
