Romiley station - Manchester platform buildings
Romiley station has changed little over the last 30 years, though the trains serving it have. Note the hanging baskets attached to the canopy on the nearer platform. Health and Safety was a lower priority than having an attractive station in 1977!

Romiley Signal Box
Romiley signal box was decommissioned in July 2015. Plans have been put forward by Friends of Romiley Station https://www.facebook.com/Romiley.FoRS for it to become a local heritage/arts & crafts exhibition display centre. For the time being it is boarded up.
