Tracks ahead
The Bredbury to Manchester line fades into the distance, while the trackbed of the former link from Romiley to Stockport curving off to the left is rapidly becoming overgrown. Between the lines, a broken gate provides access to an area of waste ground for walkers, motorcyclists and others.

The Bredbury Curve
The cutting in which previously ran a line that connected the line from New Mills and Romiley to the Cheshire Lines railway from Godley Junction through Stockport Tiviotdale to Glazebrook. Now it is due to be filled in and housing developed on the land.
