View from the footbridge connecting Woodley Precinct to Hollyhouse Drive. Once a busy dual line connecting Yorkshire via Godley and Woodley Junction to Merseyside via Stockport Tivy Dale, but now just a single line leading to works in Bredbury.

The charity shop off Woodley Precinct supports the Beechwood cancer care centre in Stockport. http://www.beechwoodcancercare.co.uk/ Next door the former dry cleaners is now a tattoo parlour. The Iceland store was previously a Co-op and before that a KwikSave.

Woodley precinct
Although in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, most of the small shops were open though only allowing two customers at a time to enter. Even the coffee shop was open for takeaway tea and a slice of cake for £2.50. Contactless payment only and you had to sit outside.
