Shops at the junction of Stockport Road East, Hyde Road and George Lane, Woodley. Immediately across the lights is a relatively new dog-grooming parlour "Snobby Dogs" http://www.snobbydogs.co.uk/ By contrast, solicitors Chronnells Hibbert http://web.archive.org/web/20120919233213/http://www.chronnells-denton.co.uk/ on the left were established in 1880. Meanwhile on the right, the former Robinson's pub the Lowes Arms has recently closed, boarded up and stripped of its signage.
