Reddish - Blossom Time on Wordsworth Road
Sorry - couldn't find a single daffodil, still less a host.

Reddish - Tennyson Avenue
Part of a sizable estate the roads of which are named after notable poets. Wordsworth Road is but a daffodil's stalk away while Chaucer Road needs not a pilgrim's progress.

Reddish - Chaucer Avenue
Curiously, this short section of Chaucer Avenue is unadopted by the council, hence the dilapidated road surface, behind which lie perfectly standard houses typical of the area.

Bridge 13 plaque
The plaque attached to the bridge at Longford Road West (Image]) indicates the original railway route
MANCHESTER, SHEFFIELD & LINCOLNSHIRE RAILWAY 1892
and SUSTRANS 2002 (indicating its part in the National Cycle Network)
It is very similar to Image] but the name MANCHESTER has been replaced by STOCKPORT indicating that this part of the route is within the Stockport Metropolitan Borough.

Reddish - Houldsworth Golf Course
The golf course is separated from the "poets estate" and particularly Chaucer Avenue by a very sturdy metal fence, presumably to stop golfers running amok.
