This large Victorian church, situated in a conservation area, was built in 1847.
The large stone lychgate dates from 1927.

Heaton Mersey War Memorial
The War Memorial at Heaton Mersey is the junction of St John's Road and Didsbury Road, near the church of St John the Baptist. It is in the form of a stone cross with metal panels on the base which are engraved with the names of those of Heaton Mersey who fell in the two world wars (Image]).
