Hollywood Park was officially opened on June 3rd 1884 according to http://www.stockportgreenspace.org.uk/Members/Friends_of_Hollywood_Park.htm or 1893 according to http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/local-news/star-treatment-for-our-bit-of-hollywood-1174098 As well as the usual notices to pick up after your dog there is a notice that the illegal use of off-road vehicles will be prosecuted and vehicles seized without further warning. The cycle route #558 http://www.sustrans.org.uk/ncn/map/route/route-558 links central Stockport with Heald Green and runs through Hollywood Park and Edgeley Park, avoiding the busier A560.

Ye Olde Vic
A public house at the corner of Chatham Street and Moseley Street displaying a neat Santa Claus. Despite its somewhat derelict appearance its website in 2008 indicated a thriving atmosphere, but it appears since to have closed.
