View over Chestergate
Taking photos from moving trains is fraught with difficulty but in this case the window was clean, the train was travelling very slowly over the viaduct and the sun did not cause any flares or reflections.
In the foreground bottom left is the bus garage on Chestergate.

Mill adjacent to Stockport railway viaduct
As far as I can tell, this mill with its distinctive chimney on the west side of the railway viaduct in the town centre is no longer extant at the time of submitting the photo. The view is from the road bridge to the east of the bus station.

Former works, King Street West, Stockport
Marked on the map as a factory.
An old sign indicated that it had been the registered office of S Teasdale Ltd. Boarded up, the land behind it also disused and nothing had changed by 2023. Hard to know what, if anything, the future holds for a building like this.
