Chapel Playhouse
Chapel Players, established 1928 are a local amateur dramatic society producing annual pantomime and several shows during the year. The theatre on Eccles Road is also home to Chapel-en-le-Frith Morris Men http://www.chapelmorris.org/ who practice there on Monday nights.

Down ballast train at Chapel-en-le-Frith Central Station
View southward, towards Peak Forest, Matlock and Derby; ex-Midland main line, Derby - Matlock - Chinley - Manchester. This station at Chapel-en-le-Frith was closed on 6/3/67 when the whole Peak Line (Matlock - Manchester) was closed, but the line Peak Forest - Chinley has been kept open to serve the limestone quarries. The locomotive is ex-War Department 2-8-0 No. 90589.
