Tea Shop
I stopped in Chinley for a cup of tea, and was greatly pleased with both the village and the tea.
Recommended.
The post office and a delicatessen complete this fine Edwardian building.

Green Lane, Chinley
This is what passes for the centre of Chinley. The row of shops includes a post office. Despite its rural appearance, the good rail link to Manchester means that around half the population are commuters.
