Course of the Former Peak Forest Tramway
A section of the tramway route seen here close to the site of what was Forge Mill. The tramway conveyed stone from the quarries around Buxton to the Bugworth canal basin.

Footpath signs at Whitehough
The top sign indicates the way for walkers on the Peak Forest Tramway Trail (which was a tramway for conveying limestone to Bugsworth Canal Basin until the 1920s). Below that is the National Rail symbol, in an unusual format, pointing towards Chinley station.
