The returning empties for Tunstead
Class 40 number 40030 hauls the returning ici wagon empties from Northwich through Chinley station and onwards to Tunstead quarry at Peak. The station layout has been rationalised since this picture was taken and the class 40 locomotives and ici vacuum brake wagons long gone.
