New Mills Newtown Station
New Mills is well served by railway, with two separate stations. Newtown is on the line from Manchester to Buxton, and a Buxton-bound train consisting of a 2-car Class 156 diesel unit is waiting to depart. The footbridge is Listed Grade II.

New Mills Newtown railway station, Derbyshire
Opened in 1857 by the Stockport, Disley & Whaley Bridge Railway, later to become part of the London & North Western Railway, on what is today the line from Manchester to Buxton.
