Taking a break ? 1968
Preserved Wigan Corporation Leyland Titan no.34 takes a break at the Waterloo Hotel on the A6 between Buxton and Taddington on the way to the Grand Transport Extravaganza at Crich Tramway Museum with a party of transport enthusiasts. The long climb through the Peak District certainly put the old lady to the test, and the break would have been as welcome to her as to the human members of the party! The scene was virtually unchanged in this 2009 view https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1369015
