The Buckingham Hotel
Its chief attraction for me is Ramsey's Bar on the right hand side, offering several excellent beers and some good food.

Derelict well at The Bedford, St John's Road, Buxton
This former care home has a real air of neglect and is rather creepy, particularly at night when only one or two lights are on. The state of the well on the corner is typical. The Bedford was originally a care home for the cerebral palsy charity Scope but seems to have closed in 2008 or soon after.
