The Bull Ring Neolithic Henge at Dove Holes
Once graced by standing stones this oft-abused circular henge is at least five thousand years old. Perhaps best seen from above. See https://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312&file=index&do=showpic&pid=77675

The Bull Ring
The earthworks of a Neolithic henge monument some 90m in diameter, incongruously sited next to a football pitch (behind the photographer in this shot). The depression in the centre of the picture is the remnant of a 19th-century quarry. A description of the site from 1789 suggests a single large stone stood within the circle, perhaps one of several that once stood here.

Within The Bull Ring at Dove Holes
The Bull Ring is a neolithic henge that has managed to survive for at least five thousand years on the eastern edge of Dove Holes - a Derbyshire quarrying settlement. Perhaps best seen from above:- https://www.megalithic.co.uk/modules.php?op=modload&name=a312&file=index&do=showpic&pid=77675
