Wye House, Buxton
I believe this neglected building on the northern edge of Buxton was once a private asylum, and later a school. New houses have been built nearby (just out of shot to the right) and the house itself may be due for renovation.

Vera Brittain's Blue Plaque in Buxton's Park Road
VB rather bad mouthed Buxton society in pre-WWI days so the town has only recently forgiven her and put this plaque up.
