Listed bollards, Station Approach, Buxton
The cast iron bollards date from 1864 and are shown on 19th century maps. They are grade II listed (list entry 1257932).
The wall behind was part of the perimeter wall of the Midland Railway's station, which was otherwise demolished soon after closure of train services in 1967.

Half-timbered building on Station Road, Buxton
This is probably not as old as it looks. No building appears here on large scale maps of the early 20th century though it does appear by 1967. However, it is now in serious structural condition.
