The Eagle
Pub in Market Place built in 1760 and later extended, replacing an earlier inn, the Eagle and Child, dating back to at leasst 1592. By the 1820s it had been renamed as simply the Eagle, before becoming the Devonshire Arms for a while in the early 1900s, but soon reverted to its current name. It closed at the end of 2022.
