Approaching the railway bridge
Carrying a mineral line to/from Hindlow lime works, but at one time part of the main London & North West railway route into Buxton from Ashbourne and Wirksworth. It closed to passenger traffic in the mid 1950s, and to goods a decade later; much of the route is now either the Tissington Trail or the High Peak trail.
