River Mill, Dukinfield
The land was purchased by Christian Koch in 1877 and the mill was completed the following year. The architect was Edward Potts. Koch was also responsible for the nearby Tame Valley Mill and Tower Mill. The mill was a cotton spinning mill with 45,000 mule spindles and production ceased in 1934. The mill remains in other use.
