The entrance to Shireclough Farm
This leads off the Pennine Bridleway. The path to Swineshaw runs just behind this farm and over the moor.

The Pennine Bridleway approaching Carrbrook
This was the principal road to Carrbrook before the founding of the printworks in the Victorian era. The houses in view are built on the site of the printworks and the roads have such names as Printers Drive and Calico Crescent in memory.
