Canadian Geese at Stayley Wharf, Stalybridge
A family of Canadian Geese on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal Wharf in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester. The Huddersfield Narrow Canal route through Stalybridge was restored in 2001, after nearly 30 years of neglect and demolition. Wildfowl such as Canadian Geese are becoming a common sight, particularly as Stalybridge is only a few minutes bird-flight from the Peak District and Saddleworth Moor.
