"Flaggy Fields" - The Path Between Ridge Hill and Heyrod
It is believed that these flagstones were laid early in the nineteenth century to allow weavers to pass between woollen mills (owned by the Ousey family) at Ridge Hill and Heyrod. After the mills closed, the path became a popular local walk leading down to the "Bluebell Wood". From Image]
