Corner of Henry Street and Hall Street
On the corner is an accountants called Bee Motion. According to Streetview this was MTE estate agents and auctioneers in 2008. By May 2011 it was OSD Workwear but already up for sale. In October 2014 it was a barbers called Crop Shop. which was still there in July 2018 but up for sale.

Woodbank Memorial Park
Woodbank Memorial Park, 90 acres in extent and skirted by the River Goyt was presented to the town in 1921 by Sir Thomas Rowbotham, a former Major of Stockport, in honour of the Stockport men who died in the Great War.

A brave cat carved
Part of the chainsaw sculpted Memorial by Tim Burgess to recipients of the Dickin Medal http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dickin_Medal (the animal equivalent of the Victoria Cross), in Woodbank Memorial Park. The only cat to have received the medal was Simon. HMS Amethyst's ship's cat was awarded for "gallantry under fire" and for the disposal of many rats despite shrapnel injuries during the Yangtze Incident in 1949.
