In the late 1980s, wards 1 to 3 were converted into Hyde Nursing Home Image operated by Meridian Healthcare Ltd http://www.meridiancare.co.uk/site/scripts/documents.php?categoryID=200145 Ward 4 known as the TB ward continued to be used by some ancillary service until 1996. It is now being demolished.
