St Mary's Organ
The original organ by Kirtland and Jardine had been gifted by Charles Ashton the son of John Ashton who donated the land for the church. In 1980 it was replaced by this Henry Ainscough organ. It dates from 1900 and was originally in a church at Preston. It was moved here by local organ builder George Sixsmith. In the right foreground are some church vestments on display for the 2019 Heritage Open Days.
