Notice on the sign to the Woodland Walk
A public information notice dated March 2015 on the sign to the Woodland Walk states "Please note that the setting of any traps in greenspaces owned or managed by Tameside Council is not permitted. The causing of unnecessary suffering to wild animals is a breach of the Animal Welfare Act 2006." Anyone with information about the illegal setting of traps in Hyde Park is requested to call the Council.
