The Clock on The George

Corner of Woodend Lane and Gt Norbury St
The house on the corner (including the adjoining two) was originally the vicarage for St George's Church. It had become a public house by 1864 and was later owned by Schofield's Portland Brewery and then Robinsons of Stockport. It closed in 2009.
