Latterly home to Volcrepe but now abandoned and derelict. The urban exploration sites suggest that it is quite good internally.

Demolition of Woods Mill
Part of the huge Howard Town Mill Complex, once one of the largest integrated cotton mills in England by the end of the 19th century.
At the time of my visit, demolition was well under way and I passed by on the footpath beside Glossop Beck

On High Street East. With four squash courts, main hall with 6 baminton /two basketball court and climbing wall and gym.
The Kwik-Fit tyre fitters next door used to be a VW car dealership.

Woods Mill Glossop
Woods mill was last used by Volcrepe a company that manufactured cellular rubber components, they ceased manufacture at this site in 2004. The area is now awaiting renovation.
