Norfolk Street, Glossop
Taken from the forecourt of the railway station. The entrance to the station is on the far left (with scaffolding). The Star, a former Boddington's pub, stands on the corner of Howard Street. On the other side of Norfolk Street is the George Hotel (originally the Station Hotel). The latter has seen many changes of ownership since I stayed a week there in my first week working at Ferro Alloys http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1036148 in June 1980.
